How can you beat fresh organic ultra-local produce? It's healthy and delicious! Not to mention that the CSA is a great way to meet people in the community that share your values.

My experience with Backyard Bounty was more than what I expected in the line of fresh produce.  If this year was a test of what can be grown & supplied locally I can only see a brighter future for this fledgling local food producer.

We've been Backyard Bounty members for two years now, and we haven't once been disappointed by Dawn's weekly vegetable offerings. The produce is consistently fresh and of excellent quality, and the variety of each week's bag is superb. On top of that, by growing organic vegetables on local soil, Dawn is helping to keep Gibsons beautiful. We'll happily support Backyard Bounty in seasons to come.

I highly recommend participating in Dawn’s CSA. I really appreciate having fresh locally grown, organic tasty veggies, especially knowing that I am also supporting local jobs and reducing the environmental impacts of shipping food to the coast.

Backyard Bounty is a tremendous LOCAL supply of superb
vegetables. Not only is it a "10 mile diet" but it's personal,
and oh so healthy. It is so rare to live close to and know
the vendor of my vegetables. I can watch them grow and
anticipate the taste! I had to adjust my diet to eat far
more vegetables than I was used to, and this is a very good
thing.
